What I love on the new Pixel 8 is that it's the same size as the a series. I have a 6a and I just love the size of the phone.

Google keep taking real strides in the right direction every year now, pixel 1/2 were amazing, then they went off the rails with 3/4/5, but 6/7/8 have really knocked it out the park!

Always wanted to get the pro version of the Pixel. But disliked the curved displays after having bad experience with my Galaxy S8.
Finally, this it might be time to pull the trigger. The Pixel 8 Pro is very very tempting.
Although my 2 year old Pixel 6 is still pretty good.

My only concern now is the Battery performance.

I just got my android 14 update this morning and I love the new camera UI. I hope Google will eventually trickle down the pro settings from the 8 pro down to the older models. I'm still rocking my Pixel 6 and seriously thinking of upgrading to the 8 pro based on the features it provides. Namely the video editor that removes background noise and the new magic editor for pictures. It's basically magic eraser on steroids.

What's funny is that "Best Take" was a Google Photos feature from 10 years ago but it wasn't as refined. Glad to see it's back and perfected. Pixel 8 Pro really beats the pants off of iPhone 15 pro.

holy cow.. finally real face unlock. I've missed it since pixel 4. In fact I have a Iphone 13 mini and the only 2 reasons why I'm using it is because of the size and the face unlock.

I really hope they will bring video boost and pro camera to the non-pro pixel 8. Like, it costs them nothing for the pro camera and nearly nothing for the video boost (asides from maybe a bit more pro sales)
