Underrated OG Weapons in Terraria That Are OP! (Sunfury)

Welcome back, my name is Cepha and welcome back to another Terraria video on the channel. Today we go through a weapon I feel like is severely underrated, the Sunfury.

As of the terraria 1.4 update, the Sunfury got a massive buff to its stats and mechanics making it, in my opinion one of the best weapons in the game. We see whether the Sunfury is capable against some bosses and other weapons that are obtained much later on in the game. For the longest time, the Sunfury was quite underwhelming in terms of damage and usability, but now that's all changed as we see how this weapon can defeat enemies fought even in Hardmode.

You should be able to craft a celestial mace by combining the blue moon and sun fury

I'd like it if Cepha edited his videos so that parts like 3:09 aren't as tedious as they should be. Not to be rude and this is just criticism and (possibly biased) feedback, but I'd like parts like 3:09 to be made zoomed in with boss music that ends just before the fight ends followed with commentary like "Wow, that was really quick. The Sunfury is a really good weapon", similarly to how I've seen other youtubers do videos like this. *Ahem* chippygaming.
On my personal opinion, I had fun playing the game with the Sunfury with its absurd DPS it can output. I think the Sunfury is a very effective weapon against close range enemies that are vulnerable to taking lots of damage from close-range type weapons (melee weapons) because it can output a huge amount of damage given the right positioning and strategy. It is however, not effective on enemies with the kinds of AI that move away from the player and keep their distance, move erratically or send out other AI to ward the player away threatening high numbers of damage especially in higher difficulties like expert or master mode such as The Wall of Flesh, The Twins, Skeletron, Plantera Stage 2 and Moon lord's limbs.

Sunfury works incredibly well with any type of invasion as well. Just drop it from a platform above and keep it on the ground, the enemies under you will perish. I just used it against the pirate army and beat them basically afk.

Sunfury is really op for pre-hardmode and it really works well against hardmode mobs, but it is a little slow for mech bosses

Sunfury is actually better in 1.4 update than dao of pao in 1.3 update

Flamelash was also really good for something you could get fairly easily

I always used the sunfury for farming unicorn horns because the flail on the ground means that the unicorn cant come near me

The sunfury is so good! Its perfect for my Melee character, I managed to get 100 damage on it with an rulthess modifier, with motlen armor, with spiked and menacing modifiers.

Its been my main weapon since i found it. Doin a new playthrough, and yeah, just like you id sell this and move on lol. Even blue moon i used up until getting the sunfury. Im all prepped for the wall of flesh, but wanna explore some more before turing the world to hardmode.
