My favourite thing about this video is that every item extracted from the VCR is now about as outdated as the VCR itself

when i was a kid i took it apart and instead tore up the circuit board. later on i became really interested in technology because of this odd reason. thanks to this video i am now an engineering technology major.

Hey wait a minute! None of that was inside my VCR! All I found inside my VCR were two bags wrapped inside a Dukakis/Bentsen '88 sticker, one full of flour and the other full of parsley or oregano or chives or something! So I said to myself "Well, it's not a total loss, I guess I'll go bake myself a batch of cookies to cheer myself up at least." The cookies turned out all right, but NOW I'm being attacked by little VCR monsters, they're real, and they're everywhere, somebody help me!

Not all VCRs have these treasures. My old VCR was a cheap-o "Soony" model. I opened it up and the batteries were 9 volts, the iPods were pre loaded with 80s crap and the monster was dead. I ate the marshmallows myself.

I tore my VCR apart and found the body of steve jobs. He was a robot constructed from used iPod and macbook parts. There was even an iPhone 8 in there as well
