How to Recycle VHS Cassettes / Tapes

Here's how to safely recycle VHS cassettes to minimise their damage to the planet. There are millions of these monsters out there and you can no longer donate them or send them off for repurposing. The tape inside is toxic, so has to be removed. However the plastic, once separated, can be recycled as normal.
