Do you think you would be able to control the thickness of the tortillas? So maybe one time you want them thin but another time thicker? I guess consistency might be an issue. thank you.

You have to use parchment or wax paper not plastic wrap

Why not put the press on the burner? It's the same as the pan except it has a lid. It works beautifully for me. 50 gram bits (plus or minus) work perfectly. Open press flip tortilla close open and remove.

I'd suggest placing the tortilla press on a kitchen towel, wooden cutting board, cardboard or even s pot holder (if big enough) to avoid damage to countertop.

Your pan is too hot lower the temp. Your tortillas should bubble up that's when you know your dough is perfect. They should be soft. There not pancakes hope this helps

To much talking stick to the facts! That's a crepe pan! Better to roll the Tortillas!
