I just picked one of these up but I'm not sure what battery to use as it was originally intended to have Mercury batteries which no longer exist. What batteries work for correct voltage?

Stumbled onto this site video. PETRI, my first 35 mm camera was the 7s. Realy liked this model. My first SLR camera was the Petri f. I sold those cameras. Years later, I wanted to find both cameras. I have 3 7s and 2 f models. Do you have a place to get these rebuilt?

Cool little RF camera!
I just picked up a Petri Computor 35: great condition, lights for over, under and shutter speeds vary and seem to work.
The catch is, if shutter button depressed, slower / all shutter speeds stay open and work well. As soon as I release the shutter fire button the shutter closes again. So, an exposure for a second or two will stop as soon as the button is released. If button depressed, the shutter stays open for the full auto determined time (seconds etc)

Any ideas?

Is this normal, does holding the shutter tell the cameras electrics to turn on/open shutter/aperture/light meter, otherwise if not pressed then no power?
