I had a cerebellum stroke a little more than 2years ago....thought it was my inner ear.... dizziness... nausea....a very wise Dr. did an MRI in ER as the cat scan was normal and this type of very rare stroke can only be detected with an MRI as it is behind the bone at the back of the head....I am very blessed with almost full recovery.... about 95%....

WOW! Such crass and rudeness in the comments! Nobody twisted your arm and made any one of you watch! I had a stroke at age 49. After ER docs kept denying it saying “she’s too young!” they finally told my family I would not live til Friday-this was Wednesday October 17, 2001. I’m a retired RN and I lay on the stretcher thinking “what? No way-I need a real Doc in here” I knew what was going on but I couldn’t make myself understood. The doctors had my husband making final arrangements for me. By the grace of God here I am fully recovered and 71 years of age. Recovery wasn’t easy but it was do-able. So for all of you hurry up and get to the point people-step back and take a moment and thank this person for taking the time to care enough to inform you of these symptoms. Take note and make some changes in your life and yourself as well. A little gratitude goes a long way.

Stress is a villain, we have to control it by taking deep breaths and releasing them slowly. Keeping vibes positives and soaking up all that good nature stuff helps a ton too. Thank you

For anyone here wondering how the lifestyle habits can bring this about - glucose sticks to protein - Haemoglobin is a protein and so is cartilage (which is everywhere in our bodies, not just skin and hair, it makes our tissues flexible enough to function). Because high blood sugar levels make the blood sticky and some capillaries are only one cell wide in the brain, sugar can be a direct cause of a capillary blockage. Smoking can perforate holes in blood vessel walls, LDL cholesterol is the body's band aid that covers the holes while the body repairs it so you don;t bleed out. But if the blood vessel is very narrow or there are too many perforations, a blood blockage can occur. Lack of sleep impairs the body's ability to metabolise glucose and increase insulin resistance. So make sure you get 7 hours of sleep a day, and seriously cut down your sugars and carbohydrates. Never eat sugars and carbohydrates on an empty stomach eat fibre first and then protein before the sugars or with the sugars. Fibre creates a mesh along the beginnings of the gut that slow sugar release into the blood, protein, in order to be broken down into peptides that are absorbed in the gut, must start breaking down in the stomach first by the stomach acid, so eating sugars with protein slows the release of sugar into the gut. If you're interested about learning about how we function, you can find more information on glucose from Jesse Inchauspe (or glucose goddess), a chemist specialising in sugar; food, how it effects us and how our cells and organs work from Barabara O'Neill, a former psyche nurse and current nutritionist who teaches about the body and how to look after it, and Professor Thomas Seyfried, professor of biology, genetics and biochemistry that explains how sugar directly feeds, or how lack of it starves, cancer cells, (normal cells become cancerous when their mitochondria get damaged and changes their energy production pathway from anaerobic respiration to fermentation). Please learn about the body and how the food effects us. Human health is on a huge decline because we're not told the right information. It's out there but people trying to push it through some are being discredited, ignored, persecuted or silenced. There isn't a need for people to suffer and illnesses in old age occur after years and decades of self inflicted physical abuse due to lack of knowledge.

I had a stroke last July at the age of 44. I was on my way to work at our local hospital and my face and left arm went completely numb and I had trouble seeing out of my left eye. Luckily there wasn’t a lot of traffic because I didn’t have cell service when it started so I just kept driving. I parked my car in the employee parking and went straight to my supervisor and told her I knew I was scheduled to work but I felt really strange. She told me “You don’t look good at all we need to go down to the ER and have you checked for a stroke.” I found out through the course of tests that my brain was undamaged but I have a hole in my heart and AFIB which I never knew I had. I am currently doing well with my meds and keeping an eye on my heart.

I didn't know, but my wife had a clot travel from her brain to her heart where it erupted. She had to go through 2 surgeries because the doctors didn't get the bleeding under control in the first surgery. A second doctor was coming on duty and took her back to surgery to save her life. He calls her his angel and often asks how she's doing.

How true is what you said .I had an ischemic stroke 6 years ago, I did not have cardio vascular disease, suffer only from chronic insomnia and emotional stress and only rarely I had high blood pressure for a few hours or just for 30 min . If I had a cool shower or hold an ice pack to my head for about 30 min, and move it around, the blood pressure will go down., completely. When I had the stroke did not sleep at all for 3 nights in a row. Could not sleep. In the fourth night I took a sleeping tablet at 3 am out of desperation, was exhausted. Even with the tablet I could not sleep, and after a while I started to feel dizzy and slightly nauseous, and felt like I had Vertigo. It was going like this for a few hours, and I thought it is more than the effect of the sleeping tablet, and knew I could have a stroke. My mistake is that I did not call the ambulance and the doctor at Emergency did not consider it serious, even if I told him maybe I do not have the classical symptoms, he said will keep me there for a while, and after send ne home. Also he said will send another doctor to asses me . They did not give me anything, left me to wait for 5 hours, when the other doctor arrived, already I had the stroke in the hospital, completely neglected, and my right side was affected, badly, I was in a wheelchair for a few months, even after rehabilitation, and slowly I improved a bit I walk but with a walking stick, and limping badly, I use my right hand only 10, 15/00 am disabled, I regret I went to the hospital, because I knew what to do to lower my blood pressure. They did nothing to help me., like in a third World Country. What a pity, because I could remain with only a minor damage, if given proper care and attention. It was negligence from the doctor, s side.Since than I became my own doctor, and avoid hospitals. I think it is normal after such a sad experience.

My Great Grandfather, had a stroke, when he was 77 years old, from A-Fib. This just proves that you can never take anything for granted, and a stroke can happen at any age, even as early as 77 years old. Be careful, and get a full-body MRI, at least 3 times a year, to detect any possible clots. May God Bless You All! 🙏🙏🙏 Stay healthy. 👌

Very long preamble. Unnecessary. I have HB pressure controlled. I take med since 20 years ago. I had COVID and a few disconfort after. Headaches, small subconjuctival hemorrhage, some sein pain, I struggle with sentences and remembering simple things but I went to the doctor, and its over now. I know I have to have my things in order, and try to do my best. GOD is in control. Thank you for the information.

Good luck getting hospital staff and doctors in the emergency room to take you seriously. Doctors' offices are just as bad. As for nutrition, good luck eating healthy. Healthful foods that taste good, that are available, and affordable for most people, is simply out of reach. Exercising with chronic health conditions is a nightmare. Where can you find these wonderful doctors that truly want you to be well?

My beloved grandmother has a hemorrhagic stroke at the age of 77. Her bp was increased to 200.
At that time we did not realise that it could be a stroke, so we rushed to local doctor and he tried to reduce blood pressure with machine. After sometime grandmother was doing fine. After the incident of raising bp on the next day we went to local hospital, there was a very incompetent doctor who did not tell us about her stroke or did not diagnose that it could be a stroke, because when you have one side numbness or one side is not working, and speech impairment, it is definitely a stroke. On the third day we went to the biggest and famous hospital of cardiology, as we thought it is a heart related problem, bcz local hospital doctor didn't diagnose well and did only ECG and gave medicine that was heart related.
But when we went to the biggest hospital of cardiology, the cardiologist did the ECG and said she has some heart related problem, but when she saw the patients one side of body is not working and she is not proper speaking, then the cardiologist said that it can be a stroke, so that you have to go to another hospital and do CT scan and said i cannot give medicine for heart related problem, bcz in her condition of heart related problem, you have to give medicines that does not support blood coagulation means anti Coagulants, but these medicines can harmful for a person which has stroke, bcz in hemorrhagic stroke you have to take medicine that support blood coagulation, so she basically has two problems heart related and hemorragic stroke, both of these have opposite treatments. If you treat one, the other one will worsen . So doctors did not perform surgery because they said age is a factor and in her condition and in this age chances of being survivid from hemorrhagic stroke are 0% .😢😢😢
So they treated her with medicines . After some days doctors said: " you people should just go home 😮and give medicines . If She has chances or If Allah's will, she can survive, otherwise not.😮
We fed her through gastrostomy tube and it was very difficult to see your loved ones in that situation 😢😢😢i can remember each and every detail of those days . I used to cry everyday . Because we loved our grandmother very much and she lived with us for 25 years . And also she loved us dearly 😢😢
After 2 months of the incident, she died😢😢😢😢😢😢😮
I studied that chances of being survived from isochemic stroke are more than hemorrhagic stroke . And age also matters, if you are young and you have stroke, chances of your survival even after surgery are more than older people.
Edit: correct me if I interpreted any medical information in a wrong way, only in case if you know about medical knowledge otherwise don't.

But at any age, we should never lose hope on Allah, because stress can worsen tha disease.
Because Allah never leaves you alone . You should keep in mind that thousands of people survived every year by the grace of Allah Almighty.
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
