Couldn't stand Phil, but I admired the heck out of him. His skill meant every player had to up their game and I think he's the reason so many players are hitting 100 plus averages today.

I remember growing up in the 90s and Phil was genuinely so beloved, never had any drama with anyone. I don't even know what happened, but all of a sudden he started getting booed and started having childish arguments with younger players.. So strange
