Well I finally added the full 3 gallons of E85 to the tank to see what the car would feel like and it was pretty interesting coming after running down a tank of 93 octane! Looks like COBB has something in the works for us I left an info link in the video!

Solid info in this video. I’m bummed I never got to try this out. E85 is scarce out here. Thanks for sharing man!

Been doing this with my g82 I’ve had it off since it was delivered with 1 mile on the dash it now has 18.5k miles I started mixing with 3.5 gallons of E and I can feel a major difference especially with the heat out here the car feels super happy and is a lot more responsive the car puts down 515 whp and 496wtq with the E it feels like 5-10whp more

@MoJo Ninja Garage Quick follow up form yesterday. I was on a near empty tank and decided to pump 3 gallons of e85 and top off with premium. I know you mentioned it, but the throttle response is so much smoother... it just feels right.

Did a few WOT pulls on my way to work this morning and it's great. Top end feels like it pulls stronger (butt dyno?) and overall seems a tad quicker. Might be all in my head but glad I was able to try this method.

Just throwing some information in here. PhattBottiTuning has an article that goes into a little of the science on this. From my personal experience, I did the same 3 gallons of E85 and 91, I live in Cali. And the feel is quite noticeably different. Just rememeber not all E85 will actually be 85% ethanol. It may be less. I normally recomend adding the E85 first and then limping over to the 91/93 pump. Or just adding the E85 from a gas can. Either way this helps gets rid of a lot of knock and get a better AFR. I've tested this on a VA WRX, my 2015. And this was tested on a 2014 FXT. Cheers

Thanks for sharing. Had my 2019 WRX for 4 years and always wanted to go flex fuel. New to the game, but are these cars no longer able to be tuned with Cobb and flex fuel kits?

Is this right? I can mix 3 gal max with premium with no tune?
