I've tried following your steps to connect a Netgear CM1150V modem to a MikroTik CRS328-24P-4S+. I have followed everything precisely (with the exception of using OpenDNS for DNS instead of cambotech). When I get to the step of pinging google again (timestamp 7:57) I sill get "invalid value for argument address:
invalid value of mac-address, mac address required
invalid value for argument ipv6-address
while resolving ip-address: could not get answer from dns server
". Do you have any other ideas? (Yes, the modem is properly provisioned, and a laptop connected directly to it has internet access.)

This is great info for configuring any Mikrotik appliance with RouterOS. I didn't mind the Notepad explanation, especially when the music stopped, but pre-prepared PowerPoint slides would have been better. Then again this video was made in 2016 so I'm pretty sure you've improved your presentation skills by now.

Thanks for the informative video. Could you configure the LAN port (eth2) with the same set subnet of IP addresses as you assigned to the WAN port 192.168.1.1?

In my case I have the WAN port going to a Sophos UTM firewall.
