Brightline’s phase 2 to Orlando recently got approved. If successful, they should extend the line to Tallahassee and Pensacola.

I don’t mind riding Amtrak, but this is a start to something bigger and better, and it’s also nice to see the continuing construction of the government center station downtown!

this will benefit the people of Florida greatly because if they don't want to drive their cars they take the train and relax in comfort. plus we need the train from Orlando to Tampa as well

I love what HSRAC does for rail in this country. Are you planning to take on the fight in VA and fight to push for a bullet rail service between Richmond VA and Washington DC? I would support you if that is in your plans. Virginia need someone to take up the fight for rail service from the city of Virginia Beach to Richmond.

I have never understood why HSR hasn't been built from Tampa to Atlanta and further north. I-75 goes through more rural country than any other north/south corridor, what a waste. Not getting right of way before the land is more populated poor planning. In fact, CSX rail already runs the same route. Crazy they never completed Amtrak into Tampa. Great to see young smart Americans getting involved in making America a better place, tired of seeing it going backward.
