The look of realization and understanding on Robert’s face. For years, he’s been called King Slayer, and Oath Breaker for what he did. He sacrificed his honor to save an entire city.

Robert just went from joking to appalled in moments. He is one of the few who can comprehend what was just said.

The Moment Robert realized that maybe stabbing the prior king in the back was actually for the best and not quite as dishonorable as he once thought

The realization on Roberts face is perfectly done good acting

I love how in that moment, Robert seemed to have a new respect for Ser Jamie because he realized what Jamie meant ♥️☺️😁

Everyone complains about the mad king but judges Jaime for killing him

Jamie's most noble act earned him the title oathbreaker...

The reveal of the Wildfire plot makes this scene so much more impact full, even if Jaime never told Robert about Aerys' final orders, he has to know about the thousands of crates of wildfire sprinkled under the city. This is Jaime telling Robert, "I saved this city, I gave you a kingdom to rule, and only you know exactly what I saved everyone from you ungrateful bastard."

Tywin not publically telling that story was a huge mistake

Holy shit I’ve never noticed Roberts expression before! This changes the scene entirely!

Hurts having moments like these and then watching the later seasons

And then they went on to ruin his redemption in later seasons, but its better to keep that hidden away

I like the respectful nod Jamie gave to barristan Selmy on the way out.

This is a amazing scene . It tells so much of Jamie's heart I hated him at first but his progression was so good. He saved so many people when doing what was right made him a traitor to others. Him and Tyrion are two of my favorites.

Robert's Realisation is one of the best moments in the show for me.

Poor Aerys was sent insane by the 3 eyed raven sending him visions of the white walkers and telling him to “Burn them all”

Robert's face dropping was fantastic

Me and the comments realizing that if Robert hadn’t died after this, he probably would have helped Jaime get his honor back

I never realized (or appreciated the the subtle acting on both Jamie’s and Robert’s faces). At the time, we didn’t know what Jamie meant (or had gone through)

This was powerful stuff right here

This was riveting, even without context. I really should have watched this show.
