Devils advocate, cypher isn’t that hard to learn. Insanely hard to master, yes.

But you can just keep learning setups 1 at a time from videos and you will slowly get better with your game sense :).

I think if you really like his play style you can play him as a beginner just fine

Beginner here, omen and iso are god agents, with ISO’s shield and focus, and omen’s smoke and blinding abilities, they make for some good plays

I just recently downloaded valorant for my ps5. I did the tutorial and a bot match, I had use phoenix and I think he is a great character but I am still looking for an agent that suits my play style.

Brimstone is my favorite to learn with. He helps you understand choke points and holding angles

Sage: kinda, yeah, simple kit, suport, doesn't need to focus on kills, just suporting the team and getting used to the game
Killjoy: probably the easiest Sentinel. There is a reason why people allways avoid going to the site where Killjoy has her stuff
Cypher: HELL NO. If you are going against other noobs, you can still try, but still, in unrated there are high ranks just warming up and stuff, and the rookies won't have ANY IDEA of how to use Cypher's set, they will understand how it works, but use it efficiently? I bet some of them are going to use a trap wire and sit right next to the corner right next to that wire, wait for someone to hit it and then peak and try to get the kill, surprise surprise, the whole enemy squad is behind them, and the Cypher is dead, and so is his trap setup.
Phoenix: NO. I'm tired of being flashed by Phoenix, NO NO NO NO, you wana try a duelist? Try Raze, the hardest part of her kit are probably the stachels. Also how many times do I see a phoenix in my team, try to give us cover and a way to enter the bomb with his wall, and they end up COMPLETELY BLOCKING OUR WAY, basically only Phoenix can go through. NO.
Brimstone: meeeh... The smokes are allright and so is the ult, the stim is kinda meh and rookies might end up wasting it, the molotov isn't easy, it bounces around, doesn't land where you're pointing, etc...

I think what OP meant is easiest agent kits to learn. Cypher’s kit is easy to memorise. The mechanics of his trips, cage and camera is easy to learn. What’s difficult is learning how to master them and utilise to their full potential

I’d say that phoenix is probably harder for beginners because they would end up flashing themselves and their team
