Man just be honest with your wife. If you want to do so something often, then do it. If they can't get behind you improving then you have other relationship issues. Couples should be happy to support each others endeavors to improve.

You only have 3 options:
- Break up
- get her into golf
- buy her a horse
I've choosen option 3. The horse takes so much time, I can play 36 - 54 holes a week and even get some training at work during lunch time. And there is still enough time to spend together.

As an ole golfer I've seen this scenario often with young golfers who have a family. I basically tell them we'll, God willing, see them back on the course in about 20 years.

The best way is to retire. I play once a week now, will increase to twice a week as of June third. Can't wait. I love this game and currently at 20 handicapp. 20 years ago was a twelve. Got to get some back but age can kill your handicap. Good stuff as usual. Thanks Guy and Rick

Not a solution, but I basically told my wife the health benefits of playing golf, my wife got into it and now my wife plays with me!👍

Darling I’ve gotten a new job with MI5. 2/3 times a week I need to disappear for 4/5 hours and you can’t ask why and I can’t tell you as it could put you in danger. Trust me when I say if I come home smelling of a few pints it’s for job 😎

I used to play cricket, which was a 10 hour day. Since I stopped and took up golf, my wife thinks it’s great that 9 holes only takes 90 mins 3 or 4 times a week and then 18 every couple of weeks in a comp.

Take up cricket, your wife will soon be begging you to go back to playing golf 🤣
