After watching this video now, I find to be a bit wordy... I'm very thankful you are all enjoying it despite of that and too kind to bring it up.
I recorded and edited this after an unexpectedly gruesome visit at the dentist where they tortured me for 2 hours. I can see now that I probably hadn't recovered 100% before turning the camera on!
But I think if you can forgive my verbal diarrhea, these ideas can really help you in a big way, so the video is staying up, anesthetic and painkillers-induced daze and all!

I was working during the 5 minutes- really engaged with those 3 notes - and tried singing them in my head and deeply connect with each one of them..I later came with simple melodies in my mind..tried to find the intervals I picked - and then found what chord it was..started singing that melody over thr with chords..and it started moving naturally..and now I have a great song idea..

why not singing or humming before playing rather than try to "think" about the sounds only?
