A quick hi and hello from our new place in Scotland! I hoped to be back this week with a new livestream but I've had this really persistant cough so it's going to have to wait a little bit :)

I am working on a new sock design, read more on Patreon!

Hi Carmen, nice to hear you are slowly settling in .... I followed a year ago a sock workshop with you at KnitKat. Lovely to hear from you again this way.

This is my first viewing of your podcast. Yaaa, your attitude about Amazon; I totally relate. Good luck in making your new place a home. It can be a challenge at first but we all get there.

Welcome to Scotland! For creamier milk, get Gold Top/Jersey milks. They are fresh though.

In the US we can get evaporated milk in cans-it’s milk with some of the water taken out.

It might be coffee creamer you are looking for - though hopefully you've found it by now!

My daughter uses Oatly Barista style milk in tea. I use it in coffee, has a creamy & slightly sweet taste. Can be found with longlife milk at supermarket in UK. Might be worth a try.

Lovely to see you honey♥️ When it comes to black fridag I always try to go by the rule that if I was already planning on purchasing something big from a big company that I can't/don't want to buy 2nd hand (like a bedframe) and I can wait till black friday then that's fine. As long as I'm not buying rubbish just because it's bf and I'm not taking away from local and small companies because of bf. Yeah you get me.

Coffee milk is a Dutch thing. When you move to a different country you can't expect everything to be the same as your old country !

Welcome to Scotland Carmen! Wouldn't live anywhere else if I'm honest (in fact I've only ever lived in one other place in Scotland if you don't count uni) - its home :) Can't help with the milk dilemma as I don't take anything in my coffee but agree with suggestions to try Oatly Barista, especially if you don't want to go down the heavier fat content in milk x

Muller do a Barista Milk. They do it in Sainsburys. Maybe that might be similiar?

Ze hebben hier single cream, double cream and whipping cream. Probeer de single cream. Je vind het in de koel sectie bij de melk. Het zit in potjes.
