I love how I can compare my opinion of the new textures from now and back then. For ex, the glass block. That fact that it was so clear all of a sudden just didn’t sit right with me but now it’s just… normal. It’s such a weird feeling

Some of the old ones I like better, but i get that they wouldn't match with the rest of the new textures. The old Bedrock & Netherrack textures are nostalgic, but the new ones are way easier on the eyes.

I like a lot of the new textures, they are smoother, easier on the eyes and go well together. However, the new watermelon is not nice imo. They could've made the old texture a bit more vibrant and it would be fine. The new watermelon texture has too much contrast
