The answer to can you overload with the voidwalker is no, because both voidwalker's ability and overload are alternative casting costs, so you can only get one or the other, and you can't choose to cast it any other way with voidwalker.

Man round 1 was one of the most entertaining magic games I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. When he was making the game winning decision In round 1 game 3 I would never had cast the relic there, so I would have lost that game lol.
