Robert Downey Jr. Is Dr. Doom! WTF?

The MCU just announced it's new villain. Robert Downey Jr. is the new Dr. Doom! Tony Stark is back except he's not. Apparently this is not a variant but a brand new character. If I was in a position of leadership and Feige and pitched the idea to me to bring back RDJ as Dr. Doom, that would have told me all I needed to know that he was completely bereft of any creativity. I would have asked for his resignation papers by the end of the week.

Such an asinine decision. This is basically them admitting they have no confidence in their "vision" going forward, just going back to the same actors and just recycling them in new roles. It's cringe but even more pathetic that people are defending this, but MCU fans are pretty much conditioned to accept the same slop over and over.
