First I thought Garland was bailing. But he just handed the case to a special counsel which covers his a** by appointing this guy. This indicates an iron clad case is ready to be prosecuted by someone other than Garland. Merrick Garland has done all the due diligence. He doesn't mess around.

According to those who worked with Garland, he excels at overseeing investigations, including the Unabomber & the OKC bombers. According to those who worked with Jack Smith, he excels at prosecution. He specializes in public corruption, as well as terrorism & mafia financing- sometimes making him a target of threats. Seems like a good fit.

Just think of thousands of people Mr. Garland is responsible for. The list is very long. The DOJ has people all over the planet. I think it's a great idea to appoint a special counsel. The AJ is responsible for all of these departments. To many to name. FBI AGENTS. CIA OFFICIALS ETC. He has to prioritize everything. Just be patient and good will conquer evil.

Special council is a great idea but Americans have been patient enough. Think of what we had to endure during the Mueller investigation and then come up empty handed. Smith should get up to speed in short order, 1 week, and then issue the indictments. For Christ's sake; is this man ever going to be held to account?
