A friend gave mine's gave me a copy of Autobiography of a Yogi back in 1971. As soon as I saw his face on the front cover I thought, yes, this man is different. And then I discovered that he died exactly nine days after I was born. After reading this book I realised I had connections with India in a previous life . . . I eventually became a Buddhist. But the memory of this great guru is still in my deepest spirit . . . 🙏!!

I always feel a special sense of joy when I see people who died peacefully. Just observe how serene his face looks, it means the soul easily exited the body. That is a great achievement for any human being, the art of dying. Only people who lead spiritual lives are able to attain that. Most people die in pain, with fear and many even descend to Hell after death. One has to deserve to die like Yogananda and other saints.
