What's the opposite of a derivative? It's something called the "indefinite integral". Created by Sal Khan.

AP Calculus AB on Khan Academy: Bill Scott uses Khan Academy to teach AP Calculus at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, and heÕs part of the teaching team that helped develop Khan AcademyÕs AP lessons. Phillips Academy was one of the first schools to teach AP nearly 60 years ago.

The only person on the internet that explains calculus properly. Thank you.

This was literally the first Khan Academy video I had watched with the one and only Salman "Sal" Khan showing me how to do it in years. The second I heard his voice, a wave of nostalgia hit me so hard, I fell out of my chair. From equilateral triangles to calculus, it's crazy to think about it now

It's also worth noting that the antiderivative of x to any power (n) can be found with a pattern of [x^(n+1)]/n+1, which makes indefinite integration of polynomials a cake walk :) thanks for the video, Sal. Always a pleasure to see how you can make such abstract concepts seem very approachable in just a few minutes.

Now I'm wondering why it took my professor an entire week to explain this all for me to still not understand it.

i would say its called the integral, i dont call it anti derivative just call it the integral, integrating with respect to the variable
