Hey Coach Lee, I love your content and you’ve helped me through tough times in the past. This time, I find myself disagreeing with your short. It’s good to know when to jump ship! Feeling “stuck” in a relationship is a horrible feeling. And is often an excuse for one partner to treat the other partner poorly because they know the other can’t or won’t leave. Whoever you choose to be with, you’ll be happier if you continue to choose to be with them. And not because you’ve burned all the other boats and this boat is all you got. I hope my husband doesn’t just stay with me because I’m his only option. I hope he continues to stay with me because we make choices to continuously be there for each other. Although I understand the sentiment in this short, I think there’s more to life than just burning all the other boats. It’s possible to lose the battle, but still win the war. And knowing when to call it quits is part of that.

As someone who has option paralysis or decision paralysis? I totally agree that having too many options makes it difficult for me to make a decision.
If we’re talking about ice cream, for example I need only three options otherwise I am overwhelmed by the number of options .
I think that can be part of the issue too that people have decision paralysis .

And I can say, as a man, it's not only for promiscuous women just looking for validation, attention, thrills of flirting and casual hookups. Even in serious relationships with high value, quality gals, the illusion of options is still there.

I mean, modern women really do have 1000s of easy options, that is fact. But of course they are not attracted to 90% of those men, and in the 10% few will be attracted to them besides for some quick fun.

And to me, the most depressing point, is that after 2-3-4 years, the two have built something significant, sometimes wonderful, that takes TIME to recreate, even if they would that Mr Ideal. But they can throw it all in the trash for the illusion of an easy fix, of "getting better".

Men and women haven't changed, . It's the lack of social pressure to work out through difficult stretches that has.

Coach lee do you agree that having children is the only way to make a woman to commit..for life?! I am a man and somehow realized that the only way to keep a girl in your life is to have children with her. she may cheat you for some time but always will reach you to help her with the kid. and to help her you condition the help for sex :)) so here you go you have her for life. you cannot breakup with a girl that has your child.. she cannot find other to have a proper relationship because the child will the connection with me as the father.
