Once again, I appreciate the candor regarding these nominees. I am disheartened by the choices that have been made by the new administration. We need to have people heading these agencies that have some background in the agencies that they are going to be heading up, as well as some level of governmental experience. RFK Jr. would be better for EPA or Department of Agriculture. The others are questionable. I think there has to be change in these agencies, but we need competent people making these changes. Thanks Dr. Osterholm and Chris.

Many thanks to Dr Osterholm for appearing on PBS to inform the general public about the lack of qualifications of many of the persons whom the elected President has nominated for public health related positions. We need your insights to know who really cares about the common good. Please keep informing all of us lay people! I am dismayed that RFK Jr is spreading vaccine misinformation. I really wish you would hold your fire against Trump’s health appointees until our congressional representatives fully question them, and we can assess their specific plans and actions. Your preemptive attacks against them make you look politically biased. I am uncomfortable with you attacking them at this stage.
