My Worst Idea Ever BY FAR - Stardew Valley

For some reason I wondered what the world of Stardew Valley would be worth if every space was a diamond. With that in mind I set out to place a crystalarium on every possible spot on the map and have it produce diamonds. Many twists and turns later and this turned into my stupidest idea ever. Never again. Stardew Valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

also here's an idea vid - how far can you make it in Stardew Valley without buying anything from stores? So you'd have to grow mixed seeds instead of buying from Pierre, etc

So if you take the math from DF's Sweet Gem Berry video, DF managed to plant 46, 748 Sweet Gem Berries.
theoretically, had the game not crashed, DF was going to turn 46, 748 plots of farmable/placable land into Crystalariums which contain a single diamond.
That's 46, 748 x 750,
totaling 35, 061, 000G.
With the Gemologist perk, Diamonds go from 750G a piece to 975G a piece, bumping that number up to
45, 579, 300G.

Those items that spawned in the cave are error items, and they probably spawned because the game was freaking out in reaction to the large amount of crystalariums and diamonds. There are a wide range of these error items and they are often portrayed by various unused sprites. Hope this helps.

EDIT: We're all silly, just add all he shows for his sweet gem berry run, it's the same spaces. 46, 793 is the final count for stacks of sweet gem berries from the last cover the map video. So for no Gemologist the gold count is 35, 094, 750. For Gemologist the gold count is 45, 623, 175.
