THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD. A wistful and life-affirming coming-of-age story about the quest for love and meaning in contemporary Oslo. Over the course of several years, Julie navigates multiple love affairs, existential uncertainty and career dissatisfaction as she slowly starts deciding what she wants to do, who she wants to be with, and ultimately who she wants to become.

I've just finished watching this film and thought it was superb, esp the acting which was next level.

The "feel" of the film reminded me of another Norwegian film I saw a few years ago called "Oslo, Norway".
I've just found out that it had the same director, Joachim Trier. Now that's what is called having a signature style.

Just finished watching this movie and It was one of the most thought provoking and emotionally heavy movies I have ever seen. The ending just shattered my heart into a million pieces, I was bawling the whole time. I recently broke up with my girlfriend despite of her being the nicest the person in this world to me, I was just feeling smothered in that relationship and had to get out of it so I related with Julie's character a lot. The scene at the hospital with Axsel and Julie was so pure and profound. And the dialogue "My only regret is that I never managed to make you see how wonderful you are" just killed me. I wish I could go back to my ex-girlfriend but I can't now. I will always regret leaving what we had, she was the love of my life.

Just watched the movie, it was so deep and so real, like life. We really want the highs in life and stay there but life has its own weird frequencies to bring you down on your knees.
This game it’s hard but doable. Things work somehow in reverse. Highly recommend this one!

Shorten the acid sequence, lose the out of place, crude and unnecessary face-f*cking rubbish and the #metoo radio show section and you're left with an absolute masterpiece.

Rich kids from a rich country complaining about the emptiness of being too rich. The fact that the “funny” parts are a fart and a used tampon just shows how basic the movie resources are. And when a tragedy happens, what is like? Boom, cancer. So original. Anyone who has lost a person due cancer knows the script around the disease was pure shit (I’ve done, most of my best friends sadly did lost someone, and is not poetry. Is diapers, lack of communication, vomits, smells). The worst movie in the world I would say, really hated it. and I won’t even mention the anti work movement part. Yeah, make fun of people who feel guilty, like it hasn’t been seen before, lol

A story about useless people. Especially the heroine is an epitome of inner emptiness. She is going from nothing to nothing. In work, in personal life. What she cares for is herself and then, I guess, her boyfriends. That´s it. No purpose in life. Her approach would be OK at 20, 25 maybe. But at 30 it starts to be pathetic. I am from the generation of her first boyfriend and no, I do not identify with him. I should say I feel sorry for people around 30 who identify with the heroine, but to be honest, I don´t. Because at 30 you are adults. And quite for some time now. So act like adults.
