Dude. There's a house in your theater! :-)

Don’t call your stuff “crap.” I’m sure you worked hard for all of that equipment. Not to mention the time and effort to place all of the equipment properly in your space. Don’t dumb down your equipment to make a hater feel better. Hard work pays off. I appreciate your content and look forward to more.

This is my dream theater build for sure! From one Youtuber to another, don't let comments bug you. It is staggering how many people are apparently gurus in the field that you cover and have unlimited budgets.... You maximized what you had and did a great job. Don't be sorry for that, be proud!

I’ve been watching your channel for years and I appreciate what you’ve brought to our craft!!! I do swear by those SVS subs though!! I wouldn’t have anything else!! I don’t have anything else thats SVS but I went with Bowers & Wilkins fronts and center and all JBL for my surrounds and Atmos on my 7.2.4 system at home!! Thank you again!! Can’t wait for your next set up!!

The ultra surrounds scared the crap out of me during a show once. A character off screen whispered to the onscreen character (happened to be my name). Thought it was my roommate downstairs.

Internet: "How loud does it get?"
Theater Dude: "What?"

My wife would never let me get away with doing something like this to our living room.

Chris this is absolutely epic really love all the content you put out. Very happy to see you really address room treatment because the biggest issue with any theater is always the biggest part of it and that’s the theater room itself if the acoustics aren’t properly addressed the sound can quickly fall apart. Keep up the good work very excited to see your next build.

Haters inbound at the 18:58 minute mark when Chris starts explaining the overall cost of the setup. Love all the long time viewers and supporters of the channel. Anybody who has a problem with listing prices please don't ever tell anyone what you paid for your watch, boat, motorcycle, car or house. You would just be bragging 😏

I guess with this system, you never need to visit a cinema again.

You got to have a Trinnov, is very expensive but man the sound and level of detail is just simply breathtaking, even trying to describe it with words don’t do any justice. About what you said about the projector is true, if you spend $7K on a awesome projector don’t go buy a cheap $200 screen, it is like buying a Ferrari but using 87 octane gasoline. By the way I can’t wait to see your new space, blessings to you brother.

Let me begin by saying that your set up is certainly cool and that the most important thing in home theatre is that it gives its owners joy. So whatever I say from now on doesn’t need to matter to you and should be understood with a grain of salt. However, as a home cinema enthusiast, who has made a lot of mistakes in building a home theatre, and now has finally reached a state that is close to perfection, I want to share my journey and put it in the context of this video.

When I fell in love with home cinema and finally had the means to make it happen, I did the same we see in this video. I looked for cool components, as many speakers as possible, a lot of bling brands, 2 fat subs, a little acoustic treatment here and there. It was fantastic and I loved it.
But there was always a thing that nagged me. I had to adjust volume several times during a film, some scenes had a booming in the lower frequencies, whiles other scenes lacked punch. I wasn’t unhappy, but I purchase new stuff to fight this. And the new Processor, Sub, Amp etc. really made a difference.

One day, I wanted to here a new speaker system because I contemplated upgrading. I went to one of Germany‘s most famous installers and I was blown away by how amazing his set up was. The picture and sound was a lot more immersive, it was so accurate, so crisp and just 3 times as good as the system I had. I asked the installer how many hundreds of thousands he invested... and it turned out it was a lot cheaper than my system...
He explained me, that the difference was that I had great components with a bad concept, and he had a great concept with fine components.
I sold most of my components and we made a completely new concept. A Bafflewall with an acoustically transparent screen. Speakers and SBA inside the Bafflewall, 7 instead of 9 lower speakers, 4 high channels instead of 6, higher end Processor and lower end amps. A lot of focus on reducing booming frequencies and initial reflections.
I now didn’t have the cool speakers with the nice piano finish to flex, but I paid a lot less on the new speakers, that sounded a lot better in my room, and the light of the projector didn’t bounce off the shiny surfaces. The screen now was a lot larger, because I could hide everything behind it and didn’t need space for my speakers. The sound now comes out of the screen and there is no reflection anywhere in my livingroom, due to a few great tricks.
My electronic components went into another room, so that they weren’t affected by the vibrations of speakers in the room. My projector now didn’t need nearly as much light as before, although I have an AT screen. The reason is better ambient light reduction in the room and masking of the screen. The contrast is double as much as before (measured), although my projector nominally has the same contrast as before.

What I mean is, that this in the video is so akin to my „Before room“ and there is nothing wrong about it. However, I would advice anyone to make a concept before you think of shiny components and brands names. You can have twice the experience at half the cost. Hope that helps someone.

Geez, I literally feel like I'm living this movie, Mad Max. I have this Dolby Atmos feature on my Note 10+, and yet my ears can live the movie! Whoooa!

At first this sounds like an insane amount of money to spend on a home theater, but then if you think about what people spend comparable amounts of money on, it doesnt sound so bad. Like people spend this amount on pools and RVs everyday. This is an incredible setup and is something you can get great enjoyment out of everyday!

For sound vision you are almost have the complete package.
For me I would have to have a dedicated room and be designed to look like a real Cinema . What you have there is a room full of distractions like Boxes and seats which reflects a homemade sort of Cinema. But in saying that you are getting there. You know what I mean. Great sound and vision. Thanks for the video.🤗
