Oh, I remember reading the jack reacher books, didn't realise this was a movie from it.

I saw the film at the world premiere at Leicester square last week, the film is brilliant, okay he is not 6 foot 5 but he pulls it off really well, and it is surprisingly funny, it is only a minority of people who know about the 6 foot 5 character from the book, and those people will watch the film because of curiosity, and the others who go to the cinema to watch it will just be watching yet another tom cruise film

I have read every Jack Reacher novel. (I know, sad ) Tom Cruise does not fit my characterization, but I understand the Authors viewpoint in that he wanted a BIG name, I look forward to seeing the movie and hope that I can enjoy as a decent work of art.

The author of the books didn't want tom cruise either but the production company only agreed to make his books into a movie if they picked the actor they wanted...what they should have done is get a 6ft 4' giant dude

The ending of the first book would be epic to see... thing is, afte reading it I pictured someone more like Mickey Rourke in the role. Christopher Mcquarrie is great, but I am having trouble with the massive disparity between Tom Cruise and the Reache rin the books. Hell, Reacher could Bench Tom Cruise!

Tom cruise isn't reacher. But, I'll still go to watch the film just as a separate movie not connected to the books

Cruise is cool but Brian Bosworth would be way better.

everyone with an opinion, whatever. i've been around long time - over decades of films most casting is ok, a few good or poor. great casting: Al Lettieri as Sollozzo; Willem Dafoe as Raven, poor casting: Tommy Lee Jones, Sam Elliott in most later films. Notwithstanding T. Cruise's latest, by having him the film can cast even larger villians and meager appearing co-stars.

They should made another name n caracter for these movie, these guy Cruz could never measure up to the Jack Reacher from d books, I have gone trough the entire Lee Child colection of books, Im a big fan. Im still going to see d movie just for curiosity, I have seen d previous, and right away when I see these guy without d hight or wheight, I was desapointed, it might be an exelent movie, but IT IS NOT JACK REACHER

Won't be watching this - EVER! Read all the Reacher books....Reacher is 6'5" tall, cruise is about 5'5" on a good day. Utter bullshit, total sell-out, cruise will NEVER be Reacher!
