Always use a secondary container to add chemicals -- in this case a pippete. Aside from the risk of adding more than exactly one drop, you are increasing your risk of spilling or dropping the container as well as contaminating it with toxic gases from the yellow stuff. Plus, it is harder to control pouring from a container that wasn't built for it, especially into a narrow volumetric flask. Also, they should be wearing gloves, eye-proction, and clothing-protection, and have some sort of clamp to hold the flask upright.
No wonder they always die to science! Proper lab procedure, people! It saves lives.
