I switched to it because the tether was always getting tangled up during fast turns and docking. It also serves as a theft on dock deterrent since it takes a thief more time to figure out how to start the motor.

The only problem, I can see,  is that there is a slight time delay before the prop stops rotating. However, it's still an interesting product to ensure no one gets left stranded in the water.
