I don’t know why but he was one of my favorites with the whole franchise and he just has that talent to make the audience believe every single move he made it was almost like we weren’t watching a show when he was on the screen but more like a man literally surviving his demons and zombies all at the same time and for people who face their own “Zombies” and to have to deal with them in the real world would act.

the first episodes really freaked me out. All the way up to the family watching a zombie chase their neighbor into their house from their own home. Seeing the decay of society is genuinely disturbing. That goes for whether it's fantastical or real life disaster related.
