Just would like to give a quick shoutout to my old little league coach. I didn’t have my father in my life growing up and was raised by an overbearing mother, so I naturally became a huge momma’s boy. I screamed any time I got slightly hurt and couldn’t do a thing without her.
Coach Ed did everything he could to try and man me up. He taught me to “shake it off” after getting hurt, how to tie my shoes, how to actually be good at baseball (for a kid), he taught me the value of teamwork, camaraderie, and brotherhood.
On top of being my baseball coach, he was also my football, basketball, and soccer coach. I hated soccer, so as my soccer coach, he taught me to make the best out of a situation and see my commitment to the end.

my son was 6 and he played second basemen and he had to pee so he just pulled his pants all the way down to his ankles turned around and peed in the outfield 😂

I remember thee days of practice and games. They started at 6 years old with Dad's slow pitch, it was hilarious! He went all the way with it through HS. He did get better!!!
