One improvement it needs to make it a more perfect jig… it needs to be able to adjust the height of the top side angle instead of the "one size fits all” angle…. Other than that, you got yourself a great looking jig!

I could use the XL for some of the longer projects I make. I can't right now, but the price isn't bad.

The jig is AWESOME. Quick question: Are the notches on the black plate in metric or imperial spacing? Question because I live in Europe.

I made a heavy duty version of Mr. Coops Jig. 2 pieces of 18mm baltic birch with a wide base at the corners similar to the speedy jig. A hardwood insert glued into the jig as the guide wide enough for that a metal tape measure and t-slot. Heavy duty picture hanger froma European company that do not bend.

Sweet design - one thing that has me on the fence though - on my past 3 jigs, I've had to put cm on myself as they only came with inches - on this, I see no units at all? 😮

I use the “ouchless” hair bands when creating bracelets for former students of mine (I also will start using the silicone bracelets soon)— I use that as the core and then just knot on the band itself.

The problem is, on the jig that I have, the “posts” can only get about 4” from one to the other— and sometimes this stretches the band out too much to fit a younger person.

How close can they get on this jig?

Could this jig be used for different types of thread— embroidery, rat rail, yarn, etc.?

The design looks great, by the way. 👍

Later…
I think I answered my own question with the horizontal bars you have on the jig… I could put any hair band or silicone bracelet on those bars and knot on them.

How close can those two adjustable ends get from each other?

I noticed for one of the scenes you were wearing a Casio gshock ga 2100… I was wondering whether you had any opinions or experiences you had to share with it as I have been looking at it for a while.

What’s the best size paracord for making most of the items you make? Cheers.

Very nice…. But two things:
What about a monkey fist jig?
Can the measurements also come in centimeters for us across the pond?
A heavy jig with a stand is nice features.
