@Airking11 I have an ipod touch and until it has proper controls I dont think it can compete fully the touch controls have got better but they are still pants compared to to proper buttons

@thewindwaker Because Gamespot couldn't get their head around it being a Visual NOVEL with puzzle elements instead of a puzzle game with text and complained there was too much text.

Wow. No mention of Ace Attorney, Megaman Zero Collection, 999, Golden Sun, Etrian Odyssey 3, Dementium 2, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, Rune Factory 3, Sonic Colors, or Shantae?

@Airking11 I think you could be right but there is still alot that needs to be improved. The battery life when playing games is shocking. Rather then making it 17% thiner id prefer battery life. However the price points of the games and the fact its actually portable. I think im going to wait till the 5g to upgrade from my 3g. I reckon that wil be a ds psp killer.

@Airking11 Oh, I don't know, I don't have the iPod touch 4GS but I do have an iPhone 4 instead and I still love both that and my DS because everything has their own pros :P

Dragon Quest 9 makes me wish I could afford a DSiXL (or any DS at this point).

Dragon Quest IX should win, that was an amazingly addictive game.

As much as I like Pokemon I'm glad it didn't get nominated because it would have won despite not being as good as DQ IX.

My vote goes to Dragon Quest. I enjoy going on quests with characters you can create, such as one I made in particular named Randal, who wears only a t-shirt and boxers and knows only fisticuffs.

any game that gets me to cry at the end is good in my book
