Heather's Story; Mother of 5 Loses Her Legs

Heather Van Boerum is a mother of five whose life looked pretty normal before December 20, 2021. Little did she know that evening that her life was about to change forever. Heather was hit by an out of control car while headed into a Costco in Murray, Utah. Narrowly escaping death, Heather found her life forever altered when her legs were amputated. Despite this traumatic event, Heather has been able to recognize the blessings of the experience in her life. Despite her handicap, she continues to live life to its fullest, serving and growing in new ways. Heather's story sheds light on the age old question, "Why do bad things happen to good people?".
