Hey recently discovered is that when the paper is bond in the wrong direction it will wrinkle because it expands, when the paper runs up and down instead of left to right it won’t wrinkle because it expands up and down

Great review, and adding to you and JazzMonk. Just got one in for my son and the paper REALLY is THAT BAD. Also- it smells really bad- way more like dye and chemicals than a hand crafted leather bible.

Great eyes for the quality! My first turn off was the big breaks in the clumps of pages. I don’t get how these premium bibles aren’t prioritizing breaking those up more. Can’t stand when the cluster of pages plops past a verse I’m trying to navigate to, instead of letting it glide into place, haha. Awesome review as always! Are you an ESV reader? Today I noticed it’s the only modern translation that has a footnote in Luke six:1 that notes the other text containing “on the second Sabbath after the first.” Good for them on that one :)
