I have a Heritage Horween! Feeling super blessed now that I preordered it and was able to get my hands on it. I LOVE the textblock so much. My first premium Bible was the same Single Column Personal Size, but I didn't really like the paper so I recently sold it to a friend. This ESV Heirloom Heritage is the ONE for me. Horween is amazing, but that goatskin cover with the gold looks awesome too!

What's the paper weight? I can only find premium, can't find a gsm weight.

I’m very blessed to have this edition. It’s been my daily reader for a few months now, and it is … the best. The text block, setting, quality, size, it has everything! I was on the hunt for a “perfect” ESV single column edition; almost pulled the trigger on a Schuyler Traveris some time back, was also considering the Cambridge Clarion, but I am SO GLAD I waited and got this one. Horween looks nice too, but it was out of my price range. Great review Tim :)

I have the Horween Heritage and it is the best reader I’ve ever had. I absolutely love reading from it. I wasn’t even really an ESV fan until I got this Bible, but now I’m doing all my reading from this Heritage.

I just got this bible and for me it is as close to the perfect bible as it gets. Except for the ribbons of course.

Heritage is the pinnacle...I can't see how a text block gets any better than this. Pretty sure Randy Brown agrees!

Beautiful but I do like having cross references and concordance. Was one of ribbons in a light colour - not two black?

Just bought one of these I’m so excited!

I decided to get a premium bible because I’m just getting back into gods word and I feel like having something premium will make me want to spend more time with the lord.. especially since I payed a pretty penny for it lol

In all honesty, I think I prefer this layout to the Legacy. It looks cleaner not having the chapter/ paragraph headings in the outer margin. Shame about the Horween leather option though. I was looking forward to your views on the leather itself. Good job as always.

I've the Single Column Personal Size one - the one you gave away. Would have been great if you could do a side-by-side as I've been wondering a while now if I should "upgrade" to this one. Maybe I'm meant to save the money 😅

Great Bible, when we graduated from our Ministerial Develop Program, we got out Senior Pastor this Bible. He really liked it!

The Heritage layout is my favorite. It’s everything I want (just wish my preferred translation were in this exact format). I had the opportunity to compare the goatskin and the Horween editions side by side, and I gotta say that out of the box the goatskin is a superior Bible. If the Horween ever proves to be worthy of the $100 extra on that already premium price tag it will only be after time when that leather ages & patinas as beautifully as they claim (a collector will never use it enough to generate that effect, but someone who uses it every single day for a year+ might).

Is This made in China? I am seeing prices across the board on Bibles go quite a bit.I have some Bibles that were made In China and they have a heavy chemical to them.Wish more were made In the USA.Please this up, Thank You.

Love the paper on this Bible....question for when you do your full review....are there ways to prevent page curl/break in the pages? Or even best practices with the light 28gsm paper? I love the Lego paper...easy to grab, yet still elegant and easy on the eyes....I also love the French milled "indolaque" (spelling?) paper, but it's just so delicate I'm sometimes worried I'm going to rip or tear it.
