Yeah Skar King seems like a side mission. Godzilla was going berserk and I still don’t know why. You can see throughout the movie Godzilla was MOVING. Grinding levels.

Godzilla in the movie never felt concerned about shimo. when they were fighting, it never felt like godzilla was trying to kill her; it was more of a “stop fighting for skar king we can help you” ordeal

This is what I originally thought too, I don’t even think Godzilla knew about shimo because Kong had to bring him down to hollow earth to show him, I think Godzilla was gearing for something else and it is confirmed there will be another movie centered around Godzilla

I think people jump to conclusions too quickly, the term “The Monster That Ate A Star” refers to the great apes and scar king called Godzilla for Godzillas atomic breath because to them it probably looked like a STAR so and also before Space Godzilla is even introduced we need biollante first since she helped create Space Godzilla so, Either that or I’m just being stupid and they make Space Godzilla and a whole new origin for him in the MV..
