Mercedes locks keys inside

Mercedes GLE 400 locks me out with keys inside which is not supposed to happen. If it does, you can lock your kids inside and not able to unlock your car!

I thought this was a solution. I was in a hurry, trying to find a solution because the same thing happened to my mom and she needed help. I was frustrated watching your video and felt like I am not following your instructions. I went back and watched it again, and found out that you are not offering a solution. I would recommend clearly articulating the point/intention of the video or better labelling the video. Thanks

If you ever lock your keys inside your car. Grab a metal coat hanger pry the weather striping enough to slide the coat hanger in and use it to push the unlock button on power lock cars . You are welcome 😊

Solution. Tools required wedge to pry door. And a tool to reach the door handle to pull it open. I purchased a standard lock out kit not a slim Jim from o’Reilly’s (called 7 parts stores before I found it).
1)Simply pry open door
2)use metal rod to grab the handle
3)pull swiftly.

Lock post popped up then opened the door. Find keys stop alarm.

The key locked when my sister put the key and press lock accidentally with my one year inside the car .I have 2016 m beenz we try every thing we end up breaking the window to get him out.I hate it .it doesn’t spous to lock with the key inside
