When we are first learning something, we naturally have a lot of questions. I see a lot of questions from new dividend investors. Some questions come up more than others. I tend to see the same questions pop up over and over. Below are the most common questions I get from new dividend investors:

Im an index investor for the exact reasons you mentioned. I simply don’t know what the hell I’m looking at when I even attempt to research a stock. There is sooo much going on and I don’t have the patience. I hate admitting this but it’s true! So I research ETFs and how different indexes are built instead. FOR MEEE….this is much easier to understand. I also have a few stocks that I have fun with. Just a small percentage of my portfolio. If these stocks go to hell, it won’t sink my boat.

I see questions # 1 and # 5 all the time. If you don't mind me asking, these would be my questions:
1. Now that T.I.N.A. (There is No Alternative) is a fad that’s somewhat faded, what are your thoughts on T.A.R.A. (There Are Reasonable Alternatives); specifically, what “alternatives” would you include in your portfolio (Commodities, Emerging Market Bonds, Currencies)?
2. I’m in my fifties, roughly a decade away from retirement, what would your stock-bond portfolio allocation be if you were in my shoes (75/25, 60/40, 50/50)?

Hello. Thank you for your video. I mirror my taxable with my Roth for the sake of simplicity. If I’d invest in international companies, I’d definitely invest in Nestlé. I like to hold my REITs in HSA since the limit is very small in HSA.

Is this a good stock is a sign someone doesn't research the companies which is a terrible idea or they have no clue about the industry the stock is in which is actually worse. Invest what you know atleast to a moderate degree or higher and most often companies with some history. Stocks ate primarily a wealth building avenue, short term quick money is for side hustles.
