Ah yes, Ringland. The home in my home. I had my 19th birthday party in the Friendship Pub, my mum and dad had their wedding party in the Labour Club, the little shopping centre is where my favourite shop is (Greggs) and also the area in which I attended school from nursery all the way to my last day in high school. Ringland - my home.

I can remember when the areas of the shopping centre the friendship pub the library and the Ringland labour club was all just fields the shopping centre I believe opened about 1966 and the Ringland labour club opened in 1980 when I was 20 years old, I used to live in Jellicoe Close just off Beatty Road and went to Milton primary school and then to Hartridge
