Earlier models of these used the 4.6 Modular V8; I grew up in conversion vans with a handicapped twin brother, first a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country, and since 2012, a Honda Odyssey Touring.

That v6 absolutely SCREAMS!!! How aren't people talking about that more?? Makes me want to buy an Explorer take the dash out and remove the sound deadening to hear that 3.7 🤣🤣🤣 I'm not joking that's one of the best sounding induction noises from the interior I've heard

These are common in the NYC area. It is used by the city services to help elderly or disabled people move around the city

Reminds me of the Honda Element if Honda had put a v6 in it.

The 3.7 was never used in the Flex or Taurus, that was the similar 3.5. 3.7 was used in multiple Lincoln vehicles, and Mustang and F-150, and Edge Sport for Ford. As well as the police interceptors

I've seen these around for years now. I think earlier models contained Ford's 4.6L V8.

I see these quite normally all around SoCal and it’s cool to see someone finally reviewing one

Very cool!! This is the way to go if you need to transport someone in a wheelchair. Hard to beat that price.👌🏽

ok, headlights are halogen bulbs from the factory. also has DRL so the low filament or wire inside the halogen bulbs do burn out faster than the other high beam wire filament... some upgrade to LEDs just for that aspect of it. Jeep 7" round standard LED upgrades are popular, or if you just want to swap out the bulbs only 9003 is what you go for if keeping the rest of the housing assembly. after you confirmed the old halogen bulbs are good and not broken/burnt out... that stalk with the wiper function and high/low beam... its a ford part as well and the contacts may be corroded or broken inside

Shortly after its discontinuation, a successor was announced. I sure hope it gets revealed soon.
