1 heaping Tablespoon parsley flakes
1/2 Tablespoon* granulated onion or onion powder

My objective for this channel is to share with others what I have learned over the last 30+ years about living and eating healthier. I share my knowledge with my small circle of friends all the time. I am not a doctor, nor do I hold any type of medical degree, but I believe that my tried experiences may help someone else.

For over 30 years I have used every diet imaginable to lose weight, but I confess that I am now at home using the vegan lifestyle. I want to share what I have learned about eating and enjoying food. And, since I am still learning how to be more consistent with this lifestyle, I have decided to eat more healthily, realizing the weight will come off eventually. Though I have not reached my goal weight, I know that sharing with other people in front of a camera with help me to stay on course.

I have, with the help of my husband of 37 years, raised 3 grown children. I will also share some cooking shortcuts as well as some natural formulas I have used and still use for everyday problems.

I just discovered your channel during this tragic Covid-19 crisis. Your videos are a bright spot in my day. My husband and I have been vegan for about 7 years. I like how basic and down-to-earth your videos and instructions are. The recipes are things that we can "whip up" with ingredients we usually have in our pantry and refrigerator. I want to try your broccoli and cauliflower "steaks" in the coming week. Thanks again for being a "bright light."

I went shopping in Little Rock at 2 health food stores and couldn’t find any vegan chicken-like seasoning! When I found you I was so excited to find this easy recipe❤
Thanks🎉

I believe that in order to get the benefit of the turmeric, you need to eat it with pepper. I will be making this as soon as i buy a spice grinder.

I made this several times now and doubled the receipe because I left out the nutritional yeast. Never tried the yeast before so was abit nervous that maybe I wouldn't like it. Honestly ..its delicious without it as well. I added celery powder or seed (name escapes me now) but omggg ....also adds to the flavor. Thank you for this.

Hey, I used this seasoning today to make gravy!! AND it was so good! I used Mary McDougal's recipe for brown gravy. I didn't have veggie broth so I used this Vegan chicken spice mixture! ; D This is such a versatile spice mixture, at least it is for me and my family. Thanks again for sharing!

I purchased a bunch of pint size canning jars with lids. I then poured each spice into each jar and then tighten lid. I then placed each jar standing up in a kitchen drawer I have that's large. On top of each jar I wrote in black permanent marker name of spice. Works fantastic for me. If you have a smaller depth drawer could use smaller canning jars. In excited to use your delicious chicken seasoning. So creative culinary mind. God bless you, Tamson

Thank u 4 this recipe. I was missing the nutritional yeast. Adding it to the spices made a big difference. I watched the yr video last night. I made a big batch of seasoning this morning. I was very generous with my measurements. I sprinkled some on left over chick peas and black beans... yummy! Thank u very much, Bertha Jay!

Hi Berta! I have been a subscriber for a long time but have not made many of your recipes. I watched several last night and got sooo hungry! Today I made your vegan chicken seasoning, your cheesy potatoes minus the cheese and a big beautiful salad with your caesar dressing on it. W0W!!! It was all soo delicious!!! All of these recipes will be in my weekly rotation now. The dressing was especially delicious!! Thank you so much Berta and I look forward to trying many more of your recipes!!! :)) Blessings to you!!

Wow, I literally created this same seasoning from experimentation last week because I was making "turkey" and gravy for my first Raw Thanksliving meal, which came out great. Glad to know great minds think alike! 👍🏽💕

Glad you mentioned adding pepper...they say when you use turmeric use black pepper as well to release the goodness of the turmeric🥰 I LOVE black pepper in EVERYTHING!

This is my vegan go-to. I use it for everything. Use it to marinate my tofu before frying.
