Great video! I've been looking to get into some medieval style games and started looking into this! I'm definitely getting this! Real world history that looks and plays exactly like Warcraft! I've heard of Age of Empires in the past but thought the graphics sucked so didn't even look into it further. I can tell you this is the only one I'd play because the graphics are on par with Warcraft. Also, about the movie saving Private Ryan, the reason it was so focused on "America" is because it was focused on the story of an American (Ryan). Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought their was a few scenes with English men. Anyways, ty so much for the video!

It was tough for me to play Ao2 since I started with AoM (still my all time fav). Im considering Ao4 but concerned if Ill be able to adapt since I couldnt adapt to ao2 after Aom

This game is awesome. Currently playing on xbox gamepass. They just need to keep releasing new civs and dlc. I like the sultans ascend dlc a lot

just watch some guides you'll be out of bronze in no time. its way more fun to play when you learn the mechanics and don't just randomly do stuff

I like AOE2 more because 1) Nostalgia. I've been playing since its original release in the 90s and it holds a special place in my heart. 2) It just has much better campaigns. They're more interesting, from both narrative and gameplay aspects. 3) I just like the art style better and 4) I like how in AOE2, the civs are all mostly the same but are differentiated through their buffs, units and tech tree. It makes it so each civ is easy to pick up and understand while still being different enough to allow the player to find civs that best suits their playstyle. I feel civs in AOE4 have such radically different playstyles from each other that it makes it so you have to work to learn how to play as each specific civ. That's what was most off-putting for me, personally.

But I'm glad that you're enjoying it!

I played AOE2 from the early days too, and I definitely think that AOE4 is objectively the better game.

I played the old school aoe 2 until modern i didnt like 3 but i really want something differant sightly and you mentioned all the things i like so becaude of you i will give for ago. I love the brits, ottomans and now i heard thr Japanese will be there this is a must buy. Im lewrning japanese on and off for some time.

Can you join an Alliance where you are in a group of other players with each player in the Alliance having there own castle ?

I would prefered you said the reasons why you preferred aoe4 over 2, I consider buying it but not sure yet
