This video demonstrates the airplane operation in a logical manner with help of animation.

Please check the following video and webpage to have a concept check on 'Bernoulli's component of Lift'

Starting from Wright Brother's flight, working of a modern aircraft is illustrated here. Cockpit controls, working of jet engine and Flight navigation is also well explained here. Airplane Yawing, Rolling and Descent are explained here.

Watch the following video to get more details about working of the jet engines

I just find it crazy that planes even exist. Like how the hell did people figure it out, just blows my mind.

I once asked a pilot how planes fly. Dude threw a sheet of paper in the air and said 'just like this'.. lol

This was one of the most satisfying physics video I have ever seen..
You have explained a tough topic in a very easy way by solid reasons and

Watching this beautiful machines going to the sky inspires me. "When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it."
Safe flights

Nobody:
Literally nobody:
Me after seeing this: flying a plane in my dream and saving people's lives by using extraordinary aviation skills that I have learned from this video and many more.

I've always considered airplanes as the biggest human invention, even after watching this it still amazes me the fact that these huge birds can fly with hundreds of passengers inside

This is what they show pilots on their first day.

You forgot to retract landing gear during the flight.

"You want me to sit here and explain to you how a plane works?"

Yes.

Ok.

Lots of shit. The airplanes flight and navigate because they are bound to very long wires coming from the sky.

5:56

Two geese were flying in the sky. An airplane approaches them. First goose: "hey did you know, the movie I saw yesterday had the hero face a situation exactly like the one we are in and he...". Second goose:"why did you stop? what did he do next?" First goose:"I would tell you what happens next but before that I need to say something." Second goose:"what?". First goose:"Spoiler ahead !"

I think in 5:27 there was an error.
It should be the sideflap not the backflap.

One of my Uber drivers was also a pilot and I felt so unworthy being in his vicinity. I respect pilots and planes a lot

What bugs me is how can an airplane carry so much weight! i lifted up my 20kg bag which already is heavy and so many passengers!

I'm not sure what your target audience is but this is basic to the extreme and not particularly well researched.

Increasing altitude is achieved by increasing power therefore the flow of air over the wings creating more lift. The Elevator is used to change the angle of attack creating or reducing drag to control the speed of plane. It sounds counter intuitive but that's the way it works.

While "turning" the ailerons does shift the aircraft sideways the usual turning procedure includes the use of all three control surfaces, the Ailerons to tip the aircraft, the elevators to create a slight nose up attitude and the rudder to maintain a level path. The result of this creates a turn in which the inertia is felt directly through the seat as though you are still siting on the runway reducing the feeling of motion sickness.

Flaps are not just deployed at landing to increase drag but to maintain flight stability at low speed. Also Landing gear is a big drag component.

Subscribed to your channel for my son's science class this year. He is only in 5th grade but knows that engineering is his direction! Thanks for making some great material to use four our lessons this year!
