I think we often shy away from admitting that God might not answer our prayers with a "yes!" We associate that sort of statement with negativity, pessimism, and weak faith. But the truth is, God may not give us exactly what we are praying for. He doesn't always give us what we want. But He always gives us exactly what we need, exactly when we need it. During a difficult time, a time when you may be fervently praying for something in your life, remember that even if you do not get exactly what you are praying for - God is still good. He is still God. He still loves you more than you can possibly comprehend, and He is still with you through every storm.
