I lost my husband a year ago on April 4, 2023. He was about to turn 54 a few days away before his birthday, he was murdered by three IT guys. Throughout his life, he helped anyone in need, did so much for society, fought for the voiceless, sacrificed all his life for the well being of others. I questioned God how could He let him meet this gruesome end. Did he deserve to die this way? We still haven't got justice for him and the murderers are still roaming free. It's been a year. I need a lot of strength and courage to say that God still reigns, He's good and faithful. Though I have lot of questions, I know in my heart that He's in control and He will deliver justice in His time. I also believe God must have a reason for taking my husband away in this manner. I may never understand His ways. This song gives so much comfort, to trust His plans and I feel God's presence in spite of all the challenges I face without my beloved husband.

My heart aches as I share our journey. My precious baby girl, who is almost four years old, has never seen the inside of our home since the day she was born. As a pastor of a small church, I had to step away from my calling to care for my wife after her difficult surgery and to visit our daughter in the hospital every day. I have preached about trusting God in all circumstances, and now I have to live that message every single day. Our lives have been a series of trials, but Christ has been our rock. Time and again, He has pulled our baby back from the brink of death, and we hold onto the promise of His love and grace.
Every day, I whisper the words, "Though you slay me, yet will I trust in you." It's not easy, and the weight of our struggles is heavy, but we believe in His greater plan for us. No one truly understands the depths of our pain and hope, except for the One who created us. In Him, we find the strength to keep going.

Life is hard, but without Christ, there is no life. We have to fight until the day is no more for us.

Exactly 2 years ago I lost most of my eyesight and just 2 1/2 weeks… it did feel like I was left standing in the dark; I turned blind for 80% in both eyes. Beloved I must tell you this song is mine!
The very day I was diagnosed with metastatic carcinoma I saw this song, I had just seconds before asked Papa to talk to me and this song was on my phone. I heard Him tell me "this is yours, this is my heart for you!" It burned a hole in my despair and heartbreak I was fighting with at that moment.
