Any chance you've been having problems with the action on your guitar? I swear I hear like your neck might be out of adjustment. My hearing ain't what it used to be, but it's still pretty good. You'll know if certain parts of your neck doesn't return the same tone quality like it's a little weaker or something that tells you that something's off either the heights of the string or the neck is out of being benth right away, which happens over time, even Maple next will Ben you know there's a myth that they won't bend anyone or bend with moisture and the right conditions. You'd be surprised but I just thought I'd say that I want to say that's a strap, but it don't really sound like a strat totally. There's so many to copy off the same bodies. It's hard to go about body nowadays and straights. I don't really change them around. They don't quite see the difference between a straight and a gibson is in the pitch. I don't know if you've ever heard it, but that's why Jimmy Hendricks loved it. So a straight so much he he like playing his Firebirds in SG's but he he. Like to straight because when you play offender note listen to it. It'll sit there and it'll go if it it rolls and pitches where a gibson and a Jackson. They're straight tuned you hit that note and it's that same note and no variance in it which is great. But if I have that you know that like a a roll to it like it gives the type of music that Jimmy like to play all the more better that psychological mind expression from the heart and he mastered that so well. That's why he love to strap. I mean you'll see them a lot with a firebird and a SG but he really like playing a straight when it come down to it. He use them a lot in the studio but I think you got away from them in his later years and you play mostly straights. Well I hope you gain something out of that that just wanted to share that with you because it I thought I could hear your strings kind of losing their into condition. I mean there's a lot of things can cause that but if any of that relates to you, if you got someone who works on your guitars you might have them look at but only take it to someone you trust because if they do it wrong your ain't going to be no better and maybe worse when I work I'll guitar. I won't stop until it's the way I want it. You know it's funny when I work on other people's guitars. It's almost effortlessly happens when I work on my guitars. I got work in my ass off to get that. I guess if I had to have a situation I would rather it that way because I want my work to work for a person, but it's funny how it works like that. Sometimes I'll take a guitar home that looks like shouldn't never play right in the sucker out. Set it up first time man. I can't believe how this plays a guitar. That should do that and I'll have to work an hour to get it back the way I need it. But that's his life sometimes. I always likes to throw you curse. Keeps it interesting. I build guitars. I do it for fun. I like taking old junk and turn them into something. I paint guitars probably 15 guitars. Now I don't do it for a living. I do it more for my hobby. Fun! I like to put my touch on guitars but I I like setting up guitars real well too because it will set up guitar that plays well. It's so much better effortlessly. A straight is a is a rough guitar to play because it's a physical guitar too. There are neck designed they don't have as much flatness it's more a radius to it and design what the way they're doing next now. That might be better because of how they're adjusted on the headstocks like Jackson's done and others. But you know what they've done that don't you Gibson kept breaking off all their headstocks of a guitar fall over there goes it like the SG's or infamous they fall out of a guitar. You know on the ground snaps the head stock off. I've seen so many that were snapped off. That's why there ain't many of them out there because people you know they not thinking they drop them or it slips off their their strap and hits the ground. Chances are it hits the head and breaks it right off because with that angle of the Gibson angle you know how they put that head backwards to the compensate for the angle of the string that makes them weak. But Jackson done is they cut them off their and then they reput another piece of wood on there from a different angle. Even though it has it right angle. It's stronger that way because they learned over time them can fall in that break that off then and I seen Les Paul's do the same thing. They're a little heavier guitar built a little differently. They're not so out to fall in the head like the SG's were cuz Estes are light and then the heads you know the guitar was longer in the neck so it kind of went out on the way this position because how long it was and hits the ground first or less fall bodies a lot heavier so I kind of think it equals it out but I've seen them snap off but buddy of my snapped off a custom it was 70s model fell out of a straight and hit the ground. He had this weird looking. I looked and he picks up as a guitar. That sucks my sg. I have my 59 and actually is probably was a melody maker because they didn't have STs and 59 but it was enough to some calm baby. Lets pause that's playing guitar. I ever had light mahogany but you got to take. I put strap locks on not to let him fall out and then some some of a b**** come in my house and stole my guitar. Not believe my daughter helped them do it. That was my very first guitar. You know. I wish someone would return their guitar to me someday and I wouldn't even ask any questions that they did. But I know that ain't going to happen because that guitar even in its shape that it was just valuable. The guitar is probably worth a couple grand easy and only reason was only a couple grands cuz it it had some work done to the heads you know it came. It had a single pick up in it. It had to all the the makings for a double cut out and that's why my brother thinks it was a baby less Paul cuz they only had one pickup in it and then I can't even argue that fact. But me and Jimmy Hendricks had identical looking SG's I think his was a 59 Melody maker too. Such is probably was a two you know pick up guitar where mine was a single converted to a two pickup. So you know the guy that done the cut out. He didn't do a really good job. So the laws without you it wasn't original paint but it was still probably worth three to five grand just because they're they're not out there and they play like nothing else. I wouldn't pass by an SG. That's all like that for anything I mean. Not sure. I'd always want other guitars you know depending on what music I'm playing. But man s g is so light at the end of the night. When you take that off you you still feel like you and you got to know what I'm talking about because I see it's got a maple neck and it's good chance it could have a maple body and they're heavy. Oh my Jackson's heavy. My straights are heavy every guitar. I got heavy because of where they're made. You know it's got to have you travel over systems in them tonight. My neck hurts that I ain't afraid to say it and it did it even when I was young so my age has nothing to do with that. It just hurts me a little more but you have a good night. I just wanted to share that with him that resonates. If you don't have someone to take it to, I'll find you someone I know you wouldn't feel comfortable sending it to me because you don't really know me. If I live by you somewhere I would. You would know me and I would fix it for you. Now I wouldn't even charge you. You could buy me a pop or some. I got a one that I'm painting right now. I had a repaint it again cuz my daughter screwed it up trying to be an and messed up the paint so I converted it from a all purple guitar close to what yours is to a purple with a green sunburst cuz I originally was going to paint it green and then I change it to purple last minute after it was perfectly painted so I had oh it's it's an old peevee guitar. I think it's out of 70s. Looks just like a scrap matter of fact everything on a strap will go right on it. I don't care what it is. All the holes line up. That's how much it copy guitars, bodies, hell they use the same hole patterns and everything and I don't think that fender or the other guy had anything to do with peevee. Now they're in Jackson and they're in a couple other companies but I don't think they're ever in peevee and how they get by with that back then. I don't know cuz I would have thought that that maybe the age how long they've been out there's a time period and then you can start using other people's designs. Maybe that but when I get it done if you want I'll I'll just check it out. I never seen a green sunburst on a purple before. I kind of like it. I'm not green person necessarily but it's nice change and I hope that networks out because it's original negative. First. I was going to put a fender neck on it and then because it was warp drill bad and then when I picked it up after it sat for a couple years on the desk. The sucker look looks straight now so next will change and that's a maple neck. I prefer rosewood myself over alder Maple I just don't like a maple neck I just don't rosewood play so much smoother not as hard on your fingers
