The worst part about Brian giving Stewie herpes is that it was immediately after Stewie went back in time and saved his life.

I always thought Brian stealing Bonnie from Joe was the Worst Thing he’s ever done. That’s something I’d expect Quagmire to do, but at least Joe & Bonnie reconciled, and Joe shot Brian for what he did.

On that cannibalism one, in Brian's defense (and he even stated this) they were all starving and exhausted and if they didn't eat something they would've been in the same situation as Ben.

Brian is one of those characters that you question how he's still loved in the family, despite after everything he's done.

In my opinion, one of the biggest examples of Brian being a jerk was his mistreatment of Stewie and humiliation on Real Time With Bill Mahr as a huge author in the episode Brian Writes A Bestseller.

*Everything He Did To Stewie In "Brian Writes A Best-Seller"
-It's one of the worst Brian Griffin-centered Family Guy episodes of all time, if not, THE worst. After FINALLY writing his best-seller (with a little help from Stewie), it all goes to his head, and he treats Stewie the worst he's ever treated him in the entire series, period. I can only wonder why Stewie is still friends with this mutt after all this and several episodes later. And even more so why this isn't on the list!

The reason Seth MacFarlane changed Brian was to show audiences that nothing is truly sacred in the animated sitcom's universe

A few other terrible things he has done is use Stewie's time machine to score with women which leads to time reversing, treating Peter like shit after biting Peter for trying to give him a pill, and (this is a grey area this one) re-writing the time line by stopping 9/11 causing infinite rifts in the timeline, and only doing so to expand his own ego

Despite the downfall, Brian understands Stewie better than the rest of the family. Fans went nuts when he was killed off.
