As much as I like Quagmire, he’s gotta be the biggest hypocrite when it comes to Brian. I truly believe the ONLY reason why he hates Brian is because he sees himself in him and wants to call out all the things wrong with himself, Brian is just his scapegoat.

I genuinely think that Quagmire's anger towards Brian in the first scene felt so forced. Brian wouldn't have known it was his sister and he certainly didn't know that she gets beaten.

I think Quagmire is jealous of the fact that him and brian basically do the same thing, yet peter is still closer to brian.

Quamire beating up brian for sleeping with Ida is such bullshit. Its not like he knew; I hate new brian but i hate quamire worse. All he does is shit on what brian does but does the same shit but 10x worse

Quagmire and Brian are too much alike. Its a dark reflection of their worst traits looking back at each other. Thats probably why Quagmire hates Brian so much. Quagmire sees another womanizer and trys to rationalize thats hes better than him.

Quagmire telling him his problems with him are the most hypocritical thing he's done in a conversation he's been trying to rail Lois for a long time and he's done worse things then Brian so far.

While I enjoy both of them getting what they deserve, I dislike how unnatural it felt that Brian did and said everything wrong in Jerome Is The New Black.

It was uncomfortably forced. For example: Brian tries to appeal to Quagmire's...addiction, but the first and one time he does, it was Quagmire's sister...his abused sister...the one Quagmire himself let get beaten longer just to yell at Brian... Or the one random woman of the literal COUNTLESS MANY that Brian forges a letter from, just so happens to be the one woman that Quagmire loved so much, he wouldn't have his addiction if he had her. There are several other examples just like this. I can see Quagmire being difficult about Brian's T-Rex joke (Quagmire already hates him and he was tricked into coming), moments like that, I get. When writers clearly make "A" happen solely so "B" can unnaturally happen, that I hate.
I will never be okay with that type of writing.
